Rob Yanovitch
Director of Golf

A native of East Stroudsburg, PA, Rob is a second generation PGA Golf Professional with 20 years of Golf and Business experience under his belt. He has worked at some of the finest golf courses and clubs in America and prides himself on delivering premier products and first class services. With a BS in Business Management from Oral Roberts University and time as an owner and producer of Blue Yonder Films, Rob has a diverse background that enables him to wear the many hats that a Director of Golf must wear.
Rob is married to reknowned Pediatric Ophthalmologist, Dr. Tammy Yanovitch, and has a son named Ilya who loves hockey almost as much as his dad does. Rob's love of the game of golf goes far beyond the business world. He is an accomplished player and teacher and enjoys conversations about the swing, golf course design, and has a great respect for the history of the game, taught to him by his father Vince, a 50 year PGA member. Along with his PGA Class A Membership, Rob has achieved PGA Special Certifications in both Instruction and Golf Operations.
Sean O'Grady

Sean is originally from Dallas, TX, but has spent much of his life on and around Grand Lake, including learning how to play golf right here at Shangri-La beginning at age six. Growing up in a golfing family, Sean has been very fortunate to have learned how to play the game from his 3 uncles, Duane, Brian, and Bruce Lietzke. A graduate of Oklahoma State University, Sean has spent most of his career playing golf on mini-tours and working for several top golf courses in Arizona, including Grayhawk Golf Club and The Mirabel Club in Scottsdale.
After a 2 year break as a Financial Advisor with Smith Barney, he made the decision to get back into the golf business and do what he loves. With his family and friends in the area, Sean is happy to be home on Grand Lake and looks forward to being a part of getting Shangri-La back to it's treasured history.
Linda L. Vasseur

Born and raised in the Eastern Montana and Western Dakota's area, Linda continued her education after marrying and starting a family. After graduating from Texas A&M Corpus Christi, she worked on mastering her accounting and management skills at some well known companies such as Oxy Chemical and Valmont Industries. Upon her family purchasing a lake home on Grand Lake, Linda accepted a position with Shangri-La as Controller and has since expanded her role by assumimg all of the facilities human resources duties. Linda is a very responsible, dedicated employee and performs her critical tasks with percision and integrity.
Linda is married to David Vasseur and has two grown children and three grandsons. Since starting work at Shangri-La, she has taken up golf and plays with the WGA whenever time permits. |
