Shangri-La Marina
Where the Fun Begins!
 Located conveniently mid-lake at the tip of Monkey Island, Shangri-La Marina is Grand Lake’s favorite stop for fuel, food and supplies. It is an integral part of Shangri-La Golf Club, Resort & Marina with panoramic views of northeastern Oklahoma’s magnificent Grand Lake O’ The Cherokees. Shangri-La Marina is also home to the popular Island Joe’s Kentena open-air club and restaurant open March through October featuring lunch, dinner, full bar service and, on weekends during the season, live entertainment. The marina is also home to Sail Grand, offering boat and personal watercraft rentals, parasailing and yacht charter services.
Convenient courtesy transportation is also available to the Shangri-La club house facilities including the Summit Restaurant, Buffalo Bar and championship golf course. All activities and membership offerings of the club are accessible by both land and water – and Grand Lake Regional Airport is only a mile away. Come by land, come by air, or come by water. The fun is waiting at beautiful Shangri-La Marina.
Marina Facilities and Services
Ship Store
Shangri-La Marina’s full service ship store offers boat accessories, cleaning supplies, snacks, beer and soft drinks and a complete line of resort wear and swimwear, as well as friendly, experienced personnel on the dock providing hands-on service with both fuel and pump-out facilities. Personal watercraft riders will especially appreciate easy ride-on fuel Hydroport fuel docks.
Slip Rental
With 195 covered slips (24-70 feet in length), a handful of uncovered sailboat slips and Hydroports for easy access and secure dockage for personal watercraft, Shangri-La Marina is one of the largest marinas on Grand Lake. Each slip has water, electric and Wi-Fi service. Slip rental rates are $9 per linear foot per month. Even with its size, the marina’s popularity among boaters often results in a waiting list for rental slips. An expansion plan has been announced, including the addition of another 70 slips and expanded marina services.
Golf by Boat
Convenient courtesy transportation is also available to the Shangri-La club house facilities, restaurant and golf course. All activities and membership offerings of the club are now accessible by both land and water. Toss your clubs in the boat, head for our convenient courtesy docks at the marina and we’ll provide land transfers to the nearby club house with complete food and beverage service, fitness center, golf shop and championship course.
Island Joe’s Kentena
Seasonal al fresco food and beverage service is available March-October at popular Island Joe’s Kentena located on the marina property and available by both land and water. During peak season (Memorial Day through Labor Day), Island Joe’s is open for lunch and dinner from 11 a.m. Wednesday-Monday with live entertainment on weekends. Spring and Fall days of operation are Friday-Sunday.
Sail Grand Water Sports
Shangri-La Marina is home to Sail Grand Water Sports offering a variety of available rental and charter options. Parasailing adventures are available at Sail Grand, as well as rentals of pontoon boats, jet boats and personal watercraft. Captained yacht charters are also available with options for complete on board food and beverage service for that special occasion. More information at www.sailgrand.com.
