From Memorial Day through June, Shangri-La comes alive with family-friendly competitions, poolside games, lakeside socials, live-action sports events, and signature seasonal celebrations. Expect afternoons filled with outdoor play, sweet summer treats, high-energy tournaments, Father’s Day festivities, and unforgettable moments at our pools, The Anchor & Racquet Club, and The Summit.

Giant Bubble Contest

Every Saturday in June | Mini-Fenway Park at The Anchor | 2:00 PM
Kids compete to blow the biggest bubble of the day, with the winner earning a $25 game card for The Anchor.

Pool Volleyball

Every Friday & Saturday in June | Hotel Outdoor Pool | 4:00 PM
Our in-pool volleyball net transforms the pool into a high-energy summer court—perfect for spirited play and laughs.

Father’s Day Cookout

June 21 | 4:00–8:00 PM | Buffalo Bar Patio

Celebrate Father’s Day with an elevated cookout experience on the Buffalo Bar Patio. Dads choose their favorite cuts of meat to be grilled for the table, while an abundant buffet of sides and desserts completes the feast.

Enjoy wine, craft cocktails, and beer from the patio bar as you gather lakeside for an evening designed just for Dad.

Summer Sports Block Party

Compete in 3v3 WIFFLE® ball, free-throw contests, and long-drive challenges in simulator bays, with prizes, game cards, and food vouchers up for grabs.

Ice Cream Making Class

Summer is all about beautiful days of golf and fun on the lake. For birthdays, bachelor weekends, reunions, or just an excuse to gather the crew—this two-day experience is built for maximum fun. Perfect for groups of 8–20.

Day 1:

Round of golf with cart

Pizza and wings, beers, and gaming action in private simulator bays

Whiskey tasting and cigars at the fire pits by Doc's Patio with a view of the lake
